Mildred Reilly, photographer, will present a program on "23 Years At The World Trade Center" at the AAUW meeting on Sept. 25. The monthly meeting of the American Association of University Women will be held on Monday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Garden City Library.

The guest speaker will be Mildred Reilly, a photographer who will present a slide show entitled "23 Years at the World Trade Center," which covers the period from the late 1970's through December 2002. It is in the form of a documentary and narrative with audience participation encouraged.

Ms. Reilly began photographing at the World Trade Center in 1979. In 1987, her photography club mounted an exhibit in Gov. Mario Cuomo's offices in Tower 2. The program also includes a section called "The Aftermath," which shows scenes after September 11. The response of people from this country and all over the world is part of the visual history. This program is a timely and moving commemoration of this great tragedy. Interested community members are invited to the presentation and to participate in the discussion.

The American Association of University Women promotes equity for all women, education and self development and positive societal change. For further information, please call Marilyn Kerr at 739-3970.
