In the recent Ref-fuel tournament the team finished in second place with a total of 10 points in 5 games. The Liberty outscored their opponents 12 to 3, with many players contributing goals, strong defense and excellent goaltending.

The Liberty continued their winning ways in the first game of League play with a convincing 4 to 0 win over the Floral Park Indians Cherokees. There were 4 different goal scorers in the game as the offense continued to move the ball well with excellent passing and team play. A strong defense held the Cherokees to few scoring chances and created opportunities for the offense to control the ball. The times when the opponent did get their shots on goal were met by excellent goaltending. Go Liberty!
