On September 10, 8:13 p.m. , there was a multi-agency response to an alleged suicide at the NHP Rd. RR crossing. Evidently a 39-year-old Franklin Square man was struck by a train there... On September 10, a laptop computer that was allegedly delivered to a Second Street house, was missing and an investigation continues... Between August 30 and September 10, bicycles and a bicycle helmet were taken from a shed in the rear of an Arthur Street house... PO Florio arrested a 20-year-old Port Washington female for alleged DWI (.10%), alleged speeding at 54 in a 30 -mph- zone, for unlicensed operation, and for using another motorist's license, on Franklin Avenue, on September 8... About 15 minutes later, at 3:20 a.m., on the same day,PO Dallolio arrested a 20-year-old Patchogue male, for allegedly speeding at 72 mph in a 30 -mph zone and for alleged DWI (.14%) on Nassau Blvd... On September 12, police conducted a truck stop at Clinton Rd. 8 trucks were inspected with 48 tickets issued... Police issued an appearance ticket to an 18-year-old Connecticut woman and to a 20-year-old Massachusetts woman, at the Waldorf School on September 9, 2:34 a.m. The women were trespassing there... On September 9, a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were issued appearance tickets for alcohol possession in violation of the ABC law of NY State...
