Families For St. Paul's Peek Inside The Historic Building
Have you ever wondered what the interior of the historic St. Paul's building looks like? Pictures can say a thousand words, and members of Families for St. Paul's will be at the St. Paul's athletic fields during the last three Saturdays in September to give you a glimpse inside through their photo displays.
Look for the Families for St. Paul's table near the new children's playground. In addition to the photos, there will be information about the historic building and some free giveaways for the children. Residents can also pick up material about the Committee to Save St. Paul's, which is currently working on a solution to the St. Paul's impasse in response to the Village of Garden City's request for development proposals.
The Families for St. Paul's supports the Committee's efforts to find a reasonable solution that will be affordable for residents and taxpayers. The Committee's goal is to maintain public control of the 125-year-old St. Paul's building, our Village Treasure, and provide for public use of a significant portion of its interior.
Please look for members of Families for St. Paul's in their yellow logo t-shirts, designed by Garden City artist Suzie Alvey. What happens to this building can set the tone for our Village in the years to come. Your knowledge of the issue could ultimately influence the outcome. Stop by the Families table to find out what all the buzz is about.
