Named Conference Player Of The Week

Sophomore Emily Miller of Garden City earned Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors on Tuesday, as announced by the conference office. It is the first such honor in her career.
Miller was an offensive force for the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays in their opening weekend. In Hopkins' 5-4 loss to Cortland, Miller had a hand in all four Hopkins' goals, with one goal and three assists. In the Blue Jays' 6-0 shutout of Frostburg on Monday, Miller scored one goal and added an assist. With eight points on the weekend, Miller has already surpassed her total from 2005 where she had two points on the season.
