Spirit Day Committee kick off celebration. St. Anne's will be celebrating Spirit Day on September 16th from 1:00 - 10:00pm on the church grounds. Great plans are under way and the event will take place rain or shine with a tented area. This year we are bringing back many of our successful attractions including a craft fair with many new vendors, fall plant sale; great food, music, carnival games and activities, "Night at the Races", Big Bucks drawing of $25,000 if all tickets are sold, basketball contest and best of all a mass celebrated outdoors at 5:00pm. This event is open to friends and family members of all ages who are parishioners or non-parishioners. It is guaranteed to be a fun filled day for family and friends. The committee is so excited about our new and exciting events including Teen Night Club. Teen night club will be from 7:30 - 9:30pm and will be a great place for teens to gather and meet friends. There will also be a table sponsored by the Garden City Student Aid and Scholarship Fund which will be offering the Nassau County High School Facilities Book for ten dollars. This book will list directions to all public High School Athletic Fields. Lastly we will be offering our young children a ride on a real live pony.
