The Miracle Foundation and the Garden City Unit of the American Cancer Society invite you to join them for their annual end-of-summer fundraiser, Tastings 2006. The evening will include samplings of exceptional wines and the best mouthwatering culinary delicacies from leading restaurants on Long Island. The festivities will take place outdoors on Friday, September 15 at 7pm at the home of Christine and Richard Ranieri (105 Hilton Avenue, Garden City). It is a spectacular event that should not be missed.

The Miracle Foundation and the American Cancer Society come together each year for this event to fulfill their shared mission of making a difference in the lives of those touched by cancer. In addition to the delicious fare, there will also be fabulous raffle prizes and a rare opportunity to win a diamond necklace. HIP Health Plan of New York is the sponsor of this year's Diamond Raffle (donated by H.L. Gross & Bro. Jewelers). All proceeds from the Diamond Raffle are donated to Camp Adventure on behalf of The Miracle Foundation and the American Cancer Society.

The evening will also include a 50/50 Raffle whose proceeds will send children with cancer to Camp Adventure. This unique camp experience provides an opportunity for these children to spend one week on Shelter Island with their peers and siblings. Over the years, Tastings has sent over 20 children to Camp Adventure. The purchase of one 50/50 Raffle ticket will help both organizations continue this tradition. Tickets are $100 each.

Last year, approximately 400 guests enjoyed Tastings and nearly $40,000 was raised. Admission is $100 per person, seniors $75 each. Proceeds will be equally shared by The Miracle Foundation and the American Cancer Society for cancer research, awareness and education.
