September Brings GCHS Annual Freshman BBQ!
Last September, the incoming freshman, Class of 2009, enjoyed a fabulous "Endless Summer" evening. From the DJ and dancing, to ping pong and dinner, the evening was a complete success! Terrific prizes added a special touch, plus everyone was a winner receiving their very own GCHS Class key rings. What a great welcome to the start of high school! Endless thanks to all the volunteers, and committee members... from the decorations, flyers and invitations to the "Tiki Grub" food and dessert trays....and those who staffed the evening, to the dads for grilling, to those who served the water, soda and desserts... teachers and parents who contributed so much of their time and effort to make such a successful event. A special thanks to our dedicated custodians, Eddie and Jimmy, and Vice Principle, Mr. Perrato, for their endless energy-- making the event a highlight of the Freshman Class of 2009 year. You are all very special people! To the Class of 2010, a flyer will be sent home with the details of your Freshman BBQ. Welcome to GCHS and enjoy your night!
