Felice, Kathie, Anna and Nancy after a game of tennis at Ladies' Tennis Night. The Casino held it's annual Memorial Day Barbeque on Monday, May 28. It was a good start to the summer season and it complemented the Village's traditional Memorial Day events such as the parade and the fair. Casino members and their guests enjoyed the music of Brian McGeough, an old fashioned barbeque and plenty of tennis.

There was something for everyone at the Casino the weekend of August 5th and 6th. Casino tennis members hosted the annual Men's Member-Guest Tournament, the annual Lobsterfest was held on Saturday night, and Family Tennis Day followed on Sunday afternoon.

The men's tennis program was coordinated by Jim Madelmayer and began on Saturday morning. The play was superlative, especially on Sunday morning through early afternoon when the Finals were played. In the championship Finals, Josh Shafron and his guest defeated Charlie Cacciabaudo and his guest. In the Consolation Finals, the Brent Stranathan team defeated the Lou Pellicano team. Congratulations on matches well played.

Corie, Alistair and Kim enjoy the festivities at Ladies' Tennis Night. The Lobsterfest, hosted by Tim and Linda Sullivan, was held on Saturday night, and began under a clear evening sky on the patio as guests enjoyed appetizers, cocktails and music. The party then moved inside and featured lobsters, good company and music for dancing.

Family Tennis Day was held on Sunday afternoon. Casino members and their guests came out to play pickup games with parents and kids and enjoy a casual dinner. This year's party featured an obstacle course that included golf, badminton, croquet, a water balloon toss and prizes for all. The adults had as much fun as the kids, which was the perfect end to a busy summer weekend.

No summer would be complete without Ladies Tennis Night, which was hosted by Anne Marie Kenney on August 18. The courts were full of players and the patio was equally lively with partygoers enjoying delicious summer fare and beverages. This evening has come to be a wonderful cocktail party for the club's women tennis players.
