Carolyn Matzelle was named valedictorian of the Class of 2006 of the Vocational Education and Extension Board School of Practical Nursing of Nassau County (VEEB). The Class of 2006 included almost 200 students who completed a one year classroom and clinical Practical Nursing Program that allows the students to sit for the NY State Licensed Practical Nursing Exam to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
