Troop 55 Attends Summer Camp At Yawgoog

Twenty-three boys' ages ten to sixteen attended summer camp at Yawgoog Scout Reservation. This Boy Scout camp is located in Rockville, Rhode Island and ranked third best in the United States.
While at Yawgoog the boys earned over ninety merit badges and numerous other awards. The younger Scouts learned to swim, tie knots, use portable stoves and carve/chop wood. Older Scouts enhanced their knowledge with instruction on Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, First Aid, Communications and Environmental Science.
Troop Fifty-Five meets three out of every four Wednesdays, each month from 7:30 to 9:00 PM at the Cathedral School. All interested families are welcome to visit our troop meetings.
