Christopher Emerson Topping and Gena Ferrara Ms. Cathy Topping of Garden City happily announces the engagement of her son Christopher Emerson Topping to Gena Marie Ferrara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Ferrara of East Williston, New York.

Chris is a 1994 graduate of Garden City High school and a 1998 graduate of Saint Michael's College. He completed his masters at Hofstra university and is a history teacher at Cold Spring Harbor High School.

Gena is a graduate of The Wheatley School and a graduate of Hofstra University having received her masters at Fordham University. She currently teaches history at The Wheatley School. A July 2007 wedding is planned!
