Mr. and Mrs. Michael Luzzatto Michael Connolly Luzzatto, the older son of Jane and Stephen Luzzatto of Garden City, was married on August 5, 2006 to Elizabeth Ann Day, the daughter of Lois and Darryl Day of Southlake, Texas. The Reverend Gregory Lyder performed the ceremony at Palm Beach, Aruba at sunset.

The matron-of-honor was Erin Pesant of New York City. Kelly Paterson of Philadelphia was Bridemaid. The flower girl was Lucie Evans of Melbourne, Australia. Kevin Daly, of Hoboken, NJ (formerly of Garden City) was Best Man. Christopher Luzzatto, of Garden City, the Groom's brother, was Groomsman.

The bride, 29, graduated from the University of Virgina in 1999, and received a Master's Degree from the University of Texas in 2005. She is about to start teaching History at the high-school level in Jersey City, NJ.

The groom, also 29, grew up in Garden City and graduated from Garden City High School in 1995. He graduated from Colgate University in 1999. He is Vice President at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder Advisers, LLC.

After honeymooning in Aruba, Michael and Liz moved into their new apartment in West New York, NJ where they look forward to greeting their many Garden City friends.
