Laura Wahlen Marino was graduated with honors from Hobart William Smith Colleges on May 21, 2006, earning a baccalaureate in Political Science. Laura is a 2002 graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and she plans to attend law school in the fall.

Leah Munnelly, 2006 graduate of Garden City Senior High School, has been accepted to American University. Munnelly will be one of 1449 students in the Freshman Class of 2010 that begin their college studies later this month. Classes begin Monday, August 28. Munnelly is a resident of Garden City, NY.

Michael F. Schena of Garden City is among 518 students who are starting at Bates College this fall.

Schena, a 2006 graduate of Garden City High School, is the son of Lawrence and Valerie Schena of Willow Street.
