Florence Freda, who is in charge of invitations for the Friendship Luncheon sponsored by the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead, will be working with Reservation Chairlady, Mrs. Eleanor Singer and Doris Buck, who will be checking in members and guests on the day of the event. The Friendship Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, September 26 at Noon at the Cherry Valley Club. The fee is $45 per person and guests are welcome to attend. It is a good way to learn about the Community Club and all that it has to offer.

Reservations should be mailed to Mrs. Eleanor Singer, 161 Stewart Avenue, Garden City, N.Y. 11530. Please include your phone number and your menu selection on your check. You may also list who you wish to be seated with on the reservation form.

Entertainment will be provided by the Shangri-la Quartet, a group of Garden City ladies who are also affiliated with the Greater Nassau Chorus of Sweet Adelines International. They will be a special treat. Make sure to get your reservations as the date is fast approaching and you will not wish to miss this wonderful day.
