"Cedarmere & The Life of William Cullen Bryant"

This free public program is funded by The Friends of the Garden City Public Library. Seating and parking is limited and on a first-come first-served basis. No tickets are required. William Cullen Bryant, the 19th century poet and newspaper Editor of the "Evening Post," will come to life through the talents of Frank Hendricks. Hear a dramatic reading of Bryant's poetry, editorials from the "Evening Post," as well as a musical rendition of "Woodman, Spare That Tree." Learn about his gracious summer home "Cedarmere" located on Bryant Avenue in Roslyn Harbor. You will want to plan your own visit to this Nassau County Museum.
