Colin Ripp wore his medals proudly At the June 19 th Board of Education meeting, Empire State Athletes Matthew Castellano, Michael Lynch, Grayce Nix, Colin Ripp and John Timmins (Allison Silver could not attend) were honored for their outstanding performance at the Empire State Games for the Physically Challenged. They won 12 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 10 bronze medals for Team Garden City.

Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Robert Feirsen; Board of Education President, Kenneth Monaghan; and Board of Education Vice President, Nancy Fredericks presented certificates to the athletes recognizing their success at the Empire State Games.

Congratulations to team Garden City for their great spirit and teamwork at this competition.
