Summer Art Classes

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a place where middle school students can let their imaginations grow! Learn from Monet, Degas and Picasso!
This summer, two sessions of the Portfolio Class will be offered to middle school students in grades 7 through 9. Artist-instructors will introduce students to great works of art in the galleries and teach the fundamentals of drawing from observation.
There are classes in both July and August and each class is limited to 25 students. If you have not made plans yet for the summer, here is a great opportunity for artistic enrichment. For information and to register, call the museum at (212) 396-5121.
