Isabella, Alexandra, Giovanna & Nicholas de Moura On Sunday, June 4 Salon Beyond hosted "Twigs for Kids Sunday" to benefit the Pediatric Unit at Winthrop Hospital. Through the generosity of Salon Beyond, owner Paulette Quinn and the entire staff, Twigs raised more than $3,600 to be donated to the Pediatric Unit at Winthrop Hospital.

A big thank-you to all who participated in this event. Massages, manicures, pedicures, facials and haircuts were some of the services offered. The lucky winner of the Golden Goose Gala House Tour Tickets and Limo for the entire evening, sponsored by Susie at Treemendous Florists, was co-chairperson of the event, Pam Hyer. Other lucky winners included Christine Philipides, winner of the $200 Lord & Taylor gift card, and Paulette Quinn, owner of Salon Beyond, who was the lucky winner of the $100 gift card to the Salon of her choice!

Twigs is a charitable organization that donates 100% of all proceeds to the Pediatric Unit at Winthrop-Hospital. For further information about Twigs or to volunteer, please contact President Jennifer Miller at 747-5546. There are many opportunities to get involved with this truly worthwhile organization, whether at the hospital itself, sponsoring an afternoon of fun through our Pediatric Project, or by volunteering at one of the many events sponsored by Twigs.
