The Nassau County Department Of Senior Citizen Affairs Retired And Senior Volunteer Program offers volunteer positions in schools, museums, adult homes, prevention of family abuse, pet therapy, disaster preparedness and other positions of community service. Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), funded under Title V of the Older Americans Act, assists income-eligible individuals who are 55+ and wish to return to work. We provide retraining and assistance in the job search. Call us at 227-8988 for more information about "The Way to Work."
