Matt Leto, Oliver Weber, Michael Paxton and Tim Eschmann got psyched for the big game. The rains came back and so did a very determined Port Washington team this past Sunday at beautiful St. Paul's field. The Rams were able to hang on to the lead with extraordinary midfield play from Mark Beisner (5 gbs), Drew Gallagher (5 gbs), Michael Paxton (5 gbs), Jonathan Kramer (3 gbs), Luke Galasso (2 gbs) and Joe Randazzo (2 gbs). At the defensive end, playing with injuries but contributing tremendously, were Brian Badgett (6 gbs) and Matt Leto (6 gbs). Also at the defensive end playing aggressive ball were Alex Weber and Tim Eschmann. As always, Oliver Weber was Mr. Reliable between "the pipes."

One of the goals for this team at the outset of the season was for the boys to be able to move the ball skillfully and improve in this category each time they practiced or played. Well, they did it this game. Leading the offensive end in this effort were Jack Metzler and Jack Worstell. Matt Ventre was utilized often as the backdoor look.

The Maroon Rams will continue to practice hard for the last game vs. Farmingdale.
