Memorial Day 2006 was marked in the Village of Garden City by a parade and ceremony, sponsored by the William Bradford Turner Post No. 265. New York State Senator Kemp Hannon (R-6th S.D.) was an honored speaker, addressing fellow residents in remembrance of the brave men and women who have fought and died for our country, and especially Garden City residents who have given their lives in the name of freedom.
