Band-Aid Drive A Success

Homestead children placed their band-aid donations in the collection box. During the week of May 8-12, Girl Scout Troop 1246 participated in the "Kids Helping Kids" band-aid drive to help support the Winthrop Hospital's Cancer Center for Kids. Homestead children helped with this project by collecting fun, character picture band-aids for the kid's cancer center.

Homestead did a great job and many, many boxes of band-aids were sent to Winthrop Hospital. Congrat-ulations on a successful community effort.
