Co-Captains Alex Schroeder, Joe Powers, and Spencer Bais. The Rich Muller, Joe Guterding, and John Mcdaid coached 5th grade boys, traveled to Manhasset this past Sunday to face their arch rivals. The LAX "A" boys, coming off a two week layoff, shook off the early game rust and cruise to an easy 6-1 victory.

The attack led by Justin "Gutty" Guterding (4 goals - 5 gbs), Lucas Clay (2 assists - 1 gb), Matt Vitale (1gb), Alex Schroeder, and Brendan Fitzsimmons, dominated the Manhasset defense.

The GC middies led by Matt "The Jet" Schmelzinger (1 goal- 1 a- 8 gbs), Tim "The Field General" Muller ((1 assist- 7 gbs), John "JJ" Mcdaid (1 goal- 1 a- 8 gbs), Spencer "Speedy" Bais (2 gbs), John " Hitman" Walczyk (3 gbs), and Andrew "Mouse" Magdich (4 gbs), controlled the pace of the contest with ball domination.

Enough cannot be said about the strong defensive play of Joe Powers, Eric Sundius, Ryan Dooley, Jack O'Malley, and Kyle Skramko! These boys play in front of goalie Matt "The Wall" Cortese (12 saves), and have given up a total of 3 goals in three games. Great job boys!
