In the May 1st issue of Nwesday, budget increases and tax levies for Long Island school districts were reported. The figure was incorrect for Garden City.

Subsequent to the filing of the property tax report card, upon which Newsday's figures were based, Garden City reduced its numbers as follows: the budget to budget increase is 5.39 percent; the tax levy is 4.96 percent. The average budget increase on Long Island is 6.49 percent, and the average tax levy is 5.83 percent.
