S.E.P.T.A.'s Spring Festival will be held on Seventh Street from 4PM to 8PM.

Don't miss out on our High School and Middle School musical groups including Wind, Instrumental and Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, and Festival Chorus will be performing. The music performances begin at 4:00 PM. Our DJ and master of ceremonies Larry Blass will entertain you. Some activities include arts and crafts from the LI Children's Museum, Merrill Lynch giveaways, Alpine Ski Racer, the ever-popular Bouncy Boxing, various obstacle courses, face painting, balloon artist clowns, carnival games, prize booths, hat making, mini horse carousel, the Dunk Tank with a special appearance by Mr. Hardy and much, much more.

There are also great raffle prizes for you to win. Raffles include Summer of Romance and Mysterious books courtesy of Bookspan, Sunday Brunch for 2 courtesy of Garden City Hotel, Make Your Own Sundae courtesy of the Kraff Family, Gardening Delights Basket courtesy of the Nix Family, His and Hers golf baskets courtesy of Chris Nix and Merrill Lynch, Southern Living at Home courtesy of Irene Martinez, American Girl $100 gift certificate courtesy of the Marino Family, Gameboy SP Courtesy of the Punturo Family, $50 gift certificate courtesy of Sunflower Fine Art Gallery, Haircut gift certificates courtesy of Hair Vision, and much, much more. Also, Sunflower Fine Art Galleries will be hosting a reception with the Garden City Artist, Lillian Forziat on Saturday, May 6, 2006 between 8pm to 10pm. A portion of the proceeds of this event will be donated to Garden City S.E.P.T.A..

The special dinner raffle includes a gift card courtesy of Chris Ruth's Steak House, Dinner for four courtesy of Seventh Street Caf, Asian Moon, and Walk Street. Winners will be announced on May 5.

The Spring Festival is a wonderful chance for residents and the business community to come together for a good cause. The proceeds of the day will help fund the many S.E.P.T.A. programs for our children.

This event is possible through the generosity of local businesses, teachers and residents, and S.E.P.T.A. volunteers.
