Winthrop-University Hospital Presents Free Lecture May 17th
Winthrop's "Women's Health Forum" community education series will present a free lecture, "Popular Diets: What Works & What Doesn't," on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 7:00 PM. The program will be held at Winthrop's Community Outreach Center, 101 Mineola Boulevard in Mineola, at the corner of Second Street.
Arlene Stein, MS, RD, CDN, Registered Dietitian from the Division of Gastroenterology at Winthrop will discuss various diets, what makes them work, and important nutritional guidelines you need to know before choosing a weight loss plan. A question and answer period will follow the lecture.
