On Sunday, April 30, the Reverend James P. Dalton-Thompson was a guest celebrant at the 9:30 a.m. Family Mass and the celebrant and preacher at the 11:15 a.m. Mass. Father Dalton-Thompson is rector of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Falmouth, Maine. Before leaving the Diocese of Long Island for his current parish in Maine, he was most recently the rector of Church of the Ascension in Rockville Centre. Father Theodore Bean, Provost of the Cathedral, was attending the North American Dean's Conference in Jacksonville, Florida and Father Dalton-Thompson offered his ministry to the Cathedral in his absence.
