The big birthday party for members who hit the 85, 90 and 95-year mark will be held Monday, May 8th at the Senior Recreation Center. The affair will get underway at 12 p.m. and 17 members are expected to be honored.

The honorees will not be dunned the normal in-house affair tab of $8.00. All honorees have been notified and should call 640-5697 to indicate whether they will attend.

The birthday party fare will include Italian and American heros, open sandwiches, salads, a hot dish and beverages. And a birthday cake!

Looking further down the calendar, the Executive Board has set the tariff for the Coed Party at $45.00 per couple, $22.50 per individual and for non-members at $50 per couple and $25.00 per individual.

The party, an al fresco catered affair in the senior recreation center area, will be held on Sunday, July 16. The program begins at 2 p.m. and goes to 6 p.m. This year John Chiappone of Three Village Inn fame will entertain. Mr. Chiappone will put on a series of skits and provide music for the guests. Reviews of this artist's repertoire have been boffo.

The menu for this picnic will include a variety of hors d'oeuvres, three hot dishes, salads, beverages, coffee, tea and sweets.
