DVDs At The Library
The Garden City Public Library is pleased to announce that all DVDs will circulate for seven days; the loan fee at $1.00 per DVD will remain the same. Elder Law Program At The GC Public Library The Garden City Library will be hosting a program on Elder Law. This program will address Medicaid issues, estate planning, wills, transferring of assets, guardianship, and other legal matters of importance to seniors. It will take place on Wednesday May 10th at 2:00 PM. Registration is not required for this program. Cellphones For Seniors Are you replacing your cellphone? If so, don't throw it away. Instead, bring your old cellphone to the Circulation desk at the Garden City Public Library. The donated cellphones will be reworked for senior citizens to use as 911 calling devices. For further information, call Mr. Alan G. Roeckel, Library at 742-8405.
