The Garden City League of Mercy Medical Center held its annual St. Patrick's Day Luncheon on March 9 at the Cherry Valley Club. Mercy members and newcomers put their "green" on and enjoyed an afternoon of boutique shopping, a delicious lunch prepared by chef Paul Schrader, a Chinese auction and grand raffle prizes. The grand finale was a bright and colorful line of clothing featuring Talbots spring and summer lines. Mercy members modeled the beautiful clothes.
Co-chairs Jane Hildreth O'Keeffe and Erin Nothel would like to thank those people who donated their time and support and the many Garden City and other local merchants who generously donated toward the raffle prizes. A special thanks to Cherry Valley Club manager Mark Zaino and the food and beverage manager, Brett Angstadt.
The Mercy Executive Board would like to thank every member for supporting this very important cause. All proceeds are earmarked for Pediatric Emergency Care in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital.
