The weather was glorious as hundreds of vintage and classic specimens rolled down Franklin Avenue and up Seventh Street in all their spectacular glory.

The event has been acknowledged as "Long Island's king of car parades." Chaired by Chris Smalley and assisted by a band of dedicated Chamber volunteers, the procession boasted cars from every era of auto making history. Car owners received souvenirs (courtesy of the Automobile Club of New York) and were treated to toe-tappin' entertainment by the renowned Banjo Rascals (courtesy of State Bank of Long Island.) The Kiwanis Easter Bunnies and King's "Kingsley Bear" delighted youngsters with picture taking, lollipops and goodies.

The Chamber especially thanks the Village forces - in particular the Police, Special Police, Public Works and Recreation Departments - for pitching in to make this event, which attracted cars owners and spectators from throughout Long Island and the metropolitan area, the most successful ever.
