CMF board members Connie Seltenreich, Doris Hausworth, hostess Lilli Diller, Clare Barbadillo, Barbara Niemira and Lorraine Steinhardt The first "Brunch and Bunco" was very successful in that it helped to raise much-needed funds for Schneider Children's Hospital. Children's Medical Fund (CMF), a nonprofit, volunteer organization, benefits Schneider Children's Hospital of the North Shore/Long Island Jewish Health System. Money raised from events such as this is used to fund programs for seriously ill children, many with life threatening illnesses.

The group would like to thank all who attended this event. They are grateful to all of the hardworking board members of CMF and especially to Lilli Diller, who graciously offered up her beautiful home for the occasion. Everyone had such a great time, enjoying good food, gaming and the company of good friends that the group will soon be holding another "Brunch and Bunco." Watch for further information in September.
