Mr. and Mrs. Philip Seidel Margaret Ann Davidson and Philip Andrew Seidel were married on Saturday, October 8, 2005, at the Most Holy Rosary Church in Syracuse, New York. Monsignor Ronald Bill, a longtime friend of the Davidson family, performed the ceremony and a reception followed at the Country Club in Syracuse.

The bride is the daughter of Kathleen Davidson and the late Richard Davidson of Lafayette, New York. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1996, from SUNY Geneseo in 2000 and from SUNY Stony Brook in 2004 with a master of arts in Education.

The groom is the son of Iris and Warren Seidel of Garden City. He graduated Garden City High School in 1996 and from SUNY Geneseo in 2000 with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology.

Monica Nicholas, the bride's sister, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Mary Beth Davidson and Kathleen Davidson, and three of her close friends, Heather Castleman, Mackenzie McElhannon and Melissa Hom. Caitlin Nicholas, the bride's niece, was a Junior Bridesmaid, while Claire and Julia Nicholas, also nieces of the bride, were Flower Girls. The Ring Bearer was James Nicholas, the bride's nephew.

Peter Seidel, the groom's brother, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were the groom's close friends Douglas Gaeta, John Gargiulo, Brian Bray, Michael Volpe and Philip Mijares.

The bride and groom, who honeymooned in Antigua, have since returned home to begin their lifelong journey together.
