Garden City's Mayor Gerard Lundquist recently participated in the "Mayors For Meals" campaign. On March 22, sponsored by The Nassau County Department of Senior Citizen Affairs, along with Catholic Charities, village mayors delivered meals and well wishes to homebound senior citizens in the community. On Mayor Lundquist's right is Mayor Eugene Murray of Rockville Centre. On Saturday, April 15th, in the nation's most historic lacrosse rivalry, Garden City went up against Manhasset in the Woodstick Classic. Garden City won the game in sudden death overtime, 15-14.
