Serena Becker and Rochelle Gause "Beyond Borders: Solidarity in the Occupied Palestinian Territories" will be the program at the Adult Forum of the Garden City Community Church this Sunday, April 23. Serena Becker and Rochelle Gause have just returned from four months in the occupied Palestinian territories working with the International Solidarity Movement, a nonviolent direct action organization. They are members of the Olympia-Rafah Sister City Project, promoting and fostering friendships between the people of Olympia, Washington and Rafah, Palestine for the purpose of strengthening cross-cultural awareness and understanding, international cooperation, justice, and peace since its founding in 2003.

The Forum is held in the church Parlor at 9:15a.m. The community is invited attend and hear their very informative and interesting report.

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ.
