Village Sports
Men's softball league in the spring
The Recreation Department is now accepting Team Application packages for our upcoming Spring Businessmen's Softball League. Packages can be obtained from the Recreation Department in Village Hall. Roster will be accepted from the first 16 teams meeting the following criteria: 1. Businesses located within the Incorporated Village of Garden City. 2. Teams comprised of residents of the Incorporated Village of Garden City. 3. Teams comprised of employees of the Inc. Village of Garden City. The fee for this league will be $500, which cover the cost of umpires, fields, balls and trophies. Application packages will be accepted until 4 pm on Thursday, March 31 st or until 16 valid packages are accepted. The season is slated to begin the week of April 9. Games will be played on Monday - Thursday nights.
