With the arrival of spring this week, it's not too soon to start thinking about taking a membership at the pool. This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the pool and our Recreation Staff have been hard at work planning several special events to celebrate the occasion. The pool newsletter "Splash", containing the application for membership, is scheduled for mailing on May 1st.

During the off season two major improvements to the pool have been completed: the Main and Wading pools had vinyl liners installed in them and the deck area by the Snack Bar and Game Room has been replaced. In addition to these enhancements to the facility, the cabanas in both the Men's and Women's locker area are being totally renovated.

Residents who are contemplating membership will be invited to visit and use the facility at no charge, during the "Pool Open House" on opening weekend, June 10th and 11th.

Recreation staff is looking forward to serving all of the members and guests during this special 50th season.
