Helen Carss, hostess of the day at the Monday morning Senior Discussion Group sponsored by The Garden City Project, is shown with Village Historian John Ellis Kordes.

On Monday, March 6 th, Mr. Kordes delighted seniors with behind-the-scenes stories of how he obtained several photos in his recently published book "Visions of Garden City." To obtain a panoramic view of one photo, he scaled the steps inside the spire of the Garden City Cathedral. Another shot required him to be hoisted aloft in a cherry picker.
