VERIZON FIBER OPTIC NETWORK UPGRADES

The Village has been informed by Verizon that they will be continuing fiber optic network upgrades within the Village, this time in the area to the west of Tanners Pond Road/Edgemere Road. This will complete the network buildout for the Village.

This should minimally impact our residents, but I wanted you to be aware that there will be a period of increased activity over the next few months. They anticipate the completion of this work in the summer/fall of 2006.

If you experience any problems, please call Verizon's local complaint line at (516) 679-3400.
