Holly Kopke, Antonella D’Amelio and Colleen Maclay dressed in their 18th century best! Ms. Goldner’s Kindergartners recently stepped back in time when they visited the Sands Willets House. The trip included a tour of the house, which was built in 1735. The children had a wonderful time making apple pie in the original kitchen. They also made a “paper” quilt and were told many facts about life in the 18th century. Playing with games and toys from long ago and making apple pie were fun activities for learning.
