The Corpse Bride, is a stop-action animated feature which follows the story of Victor (Johnny Depp) a young man whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham Carter), while his real bride Victoria (Emily Watson) waits bereft in the land of the living. It is a tale of optimism, romance and a lively afterlife, told in classic Tim Burton style. The YA Department will show this film, rated PG on Thursday, March 2nd at 7:00PM. With the Garden City Public Schools closed on Friday, this is an opportunity to join friends for a safe and fun evening. Running time is 76 minutes. Refreshments will be served. Sign up so that there will be enough food and seats. Priority seating is given to Garden City Library cardholders in grades 6-12.
