The Central Property Owners Association will have its next meeting on Tuesday, March 14th, 8PM at the Garden City Senior Center. The main topic of discussion will be the trend towards building oversized homes “McMansions” within the village. How this trend impacts neighbors, quality of life and what we can do to remedy the trend.

Meeting To Discuss School District Restructuring

This reorganization will affect all students across all grades in the Garden City School district. Specifically, the coordination between general education and special education teams within classrooms to comply with IDEA. In addition, all intervention planning, including behavior and social plans fall under this division.

Garden City S.E.P.T.A. urges all parents to attend this meeting about the reorganization of Pupil Personnel Services (PPS), the division responsible for academic and social intervention and/ or services for general and special education students.

* TOPIC: The administration will present the proposed plan to reorganize this division for the 2006-2007 school year
