The gala affair, which will be held at the Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant, Franklin Square, is truly "a great Valentine's Day Party at a Sweetheart of a Price!, " according to Don. It includes cocktail hour from 7 to 8 P.M., full course dinner with choice from four entrees, open bar and live dance music supplied by the talented "Columbus Circle" quartet. All for only $125 per couple or $65 for a single reservation. Black-tie is optional.
The Knights will not only honor their charter members who started the ocuncil in 1996 but will pay special tribute to the folks who helped make St. Anne's annual "Spirit Day" an outstanding success --the most recent one-day event, including outdoor Mass, attracting close to 2,000 parishioners and friends.
Highlights of the Knights Decade of Service and and the jubilant fanfare of "Spirit Day" will be relived through giant photoboard displays.
The colorful "Thanks for the Memories" evening will also feature a "Super!" Half-and-Half drawing and a series of raffles for valuable prizes including gourmet meals at local restaurants, baskets of "bubbly" and tickets to a "more and more Amazin'" Mets game.
