Alyson Elizabeth and P.J. Torina Mr. and Mrs. William J. Sheridan of Garden City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyson Elizabeth, to Dr. P.J. Torina, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Torina of New Rochelle, New York.

Alyson is a 1995 graduate of Garden City High School and Delaware University. She received her master's in education from Hofstra University. She is currently working for the Garden City School District as a fourth-grade teacher.

P.J. also graduated from Delaware University. He is currently on staff at Mt. Sinai Hospital, specializing in plastic surgery.

The wedding will be held in August, 2006 on Long Island.
