Bernie O'Brien (left) is congratulated by Lorey Pollack, MD, 2006 Friends of Mercy President Rockville Centre, NY - The Friends of Mercy Medical Center will sponsor their 40th Annual Gentlemen's St. Patrick's Dinner to be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the Hempstead Golf and Country Club. The Friends of Mercy is a men's organization, which has been raising funds for Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre since 1936.

We are proud to have Morgan O'Brien, Jr., John Joyce, and Dennis Farrell serving as the Event Co-Chairmen for the second year in a row. These three gentlemen are very active with the Friends of Mercy, as well as in their communities. The Friends are also proud to be honoring Bernie O'Brien this year. Mr. O'Brien is a long-time resident of Rockville Centre, and is a very dedicated member of the Parish of St. Agnes. His strong support and devotion to his community and Church, especially during the tragedy of 9/11, has brought this community even closer. We are honored to recognize him, his faith, and his family.
