First Grade angelsFirst Grade angels The First and Third Grades at St. Joseph School presented a beautiful Christmas Pageant for the rest of the school community on December 15 and then the families on December 16. The Third Grade classes presented "Our Little Christmas Story" in song. They sang some new jazzy Christmas songs that had the whole auditorium tapping their feet and clapping along. The First grade classes also did an excellent job presenting the Nativity. With student narrators, angels, shepherds, three Wise Men, the Star of David, the Innkeeper, Mary and Joseph- the very First Christmas was reenacted for the audience. Dr. Eileen Kilbride, the principal, and Pastor Father Joseph Schlafer both commended the students on what truly took a group effort to make such a large Christmas Pageant such a success. It really reminded the students and families the true meaning of Christmas- that -Christmas is Jesus' birthday!
