Garden City teachers will provide some real basketball action on Saturday, February 4 th, at 1 p.m. as they face the Harlem Wizards in a benefit basketball game at the Garden City High School. Garden City Select Team Captain Carlo Rebolini will be joined by David Izzo, James Infranca, Michelle DeCollibus, Amy Regis, Kevin DiBitetto, Mark Quigley, Scott McAuley and Dan Doherty from the High School Faculty; Crystal Boyd and Jon Leake from Stewart School; and Amanda Mathers from Stratford School. Further draft picks will be announced.

This promises to be a fun afternoon with plenty of basketball action, audience participation during the special halftime show, refreshments, souvenirs and a 50/50 raffle. Come to this exciting game and cheer for your favorites.

Tickets are available via the flyers sent home with Garden City students or by mailing checks payable to the Garden City Student Aid and Scholarship Fund to Marion Mancusi - 189 Wetherill Road - Garden City. Ticket Prices are $10.00 in advance or $12.00 at the door. The Garden City Student Aid and Scholarship Fund is a participating member of the Garden City Community Fund. Monies from the Garden City Community Fund help to offset operating expenses incurred in the administration of the scholarships and loans.
