Knights Honor Anniversary;Pay Tribute To Spirit Day

Msgr. John's Knights" will celebrate their 10th Anniversary and pay tribute to St. Anne's "Spirit Day" at their annual dinner-dance on Saturday evening, February 18, Grand Knight Bob Guida and Co-Chairs Don DePol and Doug Gaeta report.

The gala affair, open to all St. Anne's parishioners, will be held at the Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant, Franklin Square from 7 PM to Midnight. It will feature Cocktail Hour from 7-8 P.M. with follow up Full Course dinner, Open Bar and Live Music by the "Columbus Circle" quartet.

Tickets are $65 per single and $125 per couple. Black-tie is optional

The "Thanks for the Memories" evening will hold many happy recollections for the Knights and the producers of "Spirit Day," both basking in the glow of recent successes. The Knights' Dec. 2

Andy Cooney concert evening drew a "sold-out" crowd of over 750 to McCloskey Auditorium and the Sept. 17 all-day "Spirit Day" (including an overflow outdoor Mass) drew close to 2,000!

Far above Concert attendance numbers, the Knights can proudly point to their 10-year record of charitable and church service while the many heroes and heroines of "Spirit Day" can be proud of an outstanding three year stint of successes "celebrating and renewing what binds us all together: our spirit" and "making it possible for us to spend time together as a spiritual community of faith."
