Election Day Fair

The Auxiliary of the Garden City Community Church will be opening the "Main Street Marketplace" at the Election Day Fair on Tuesday, November 8. These are two new rooms of vendors selling new and unique wares for you and those on your Christmas list. Among the offerings, handbags and accessories by Lynda Rubin, Kris Harder of The Garden Bench will have two tables filled with delightful home decor accessories, dried floral arrangements and her line of Larkspur needlepoint shoes, Susan Ohngemach will be offering a line of soaps and spa products. These are just a sampling of some of the items being offered. There will be so much more.

As always, the ever-popular Raffle Basket Drawing will be held, delicious delights will be served and sold in the Cafe and Gourmet Room, the exciting Silent Auction with unusual treasures, the famous Trash and Treasure room, along with Toys, Books, Linens, China, Crystal, Silver, Art and Frames, Jewelry, the Gift Boutique and the famous Garden City flip-flops of the Garden City Shoppe will all be there.

Something new for kids this year--face painting.

All proceeds benefit The Auxiliary and their charitable work for the church.

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship services are Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service.
